PLEASE NOTE: As of June 29, 2025, the integration with plagiarism checking software within Blackboard was no longer be available. From that moment on, Blackboard users are only able to use other submission and grading options for plagiarism detection software. The procedure for both teacher and student is available on this website.

The plagiarism tool Ouriginal is being phased out and replaced by Originality Check from Turnitin. This new system is introduced via a phased implementation.

Turnitin is already used within Brightspace  and Remindo and in mid September 2025 Ouriginal will be fully phased out and we will have moved all to Turnitin. The planning for this last stage of the project is as follows:

• Integration Turnitin in Osiris thesis Zaak – 16 September
• Standalone Turnitin – 17 September
• Second migration of the Ouriginal database to Turnitin – 18 September
• Standalone Ouriginal no longer available – 17 September
